This State­ment cov­ers the site www.davka.org (“davka”) and any asso­ci­at­ed con­tent includ­ing email or RSS. Please read this state­ment care­ful­ly before sub­mit­ting to davka. Your sub­mis­sion indi­cates your agree­ment to abide by the Terms in effect. 

Use of Content

Cre­ative Com­mons Licenses

Sub­mit­ters retain their copy­rights to all sub­mit­ted works. If a sub­mit­ter repub­lish­es his or her work else­where, we do require you to include this cred­it line: “First appeared on davka; davka.org”

All sub­mis­sions to davka are gov­erned under a Cre­ative Com­mons Attri­bu­tion-Non­com­mer­cial-No Deriv­a­tive Works 3.0 Unit­ed States License.Therefore vis­i­tors are free to copy, dis­play, dis­trib­ute and per­form the sub­mit­ted sto­ries with attri­bu­tion, for Non-com­mer­cial pur­pos­es only, and can­not make deriv­a­tive works from sub­mit­ted con­tent. By sub­mit­ting con­tent to davka, you grant davka a per­pet­u­al, roy­al­ty-free license to use, repro­duce, mod­i­fy, pub­lish, dis­trib­ute, and oth­er­wise exer­cise all copy­right and pub­lic­i­ty rights with respect to that con­tent at its sole dis­cre­tion, includ­ing stor­ing it on its servers and incor­po­rat­ing it in oth­er works in any media now known or lat­er devel­oped includ­ing with­out lim­i­ta­tion to pub­lished books in all for­mats. Editing of Content

davka reserves the right to edit the con­tent of sub­mit­ted mem­oirs. When we edit sub­mit­ted con­tent, we do so light­ly, main­ly for copy-edit­ing and for­mat­ting pur­pos­es, and very rarely for word choice and lan­guage. Read­ers have the right to remove a sto­ry if they do not agree with the changes, or can con­tact us at rebmark@gmail.com to discuss.
