Depart Adat Shalom Synagogue by bus for Los Angeles International Airport. Board our El Al Israel Airlines flight for Tel Aviv.

We had an area on the El Al 747-400 just behind the wing on the left side. We were near the flight attendants' station so we hoped we'd get good service.
Adittedly not the best of circumstances to have your picture taken.

As we leave San Diego and ride to LAX we each received a little booklet o use as a "siddur" and personal diary.
We recited Teffilat haDerech and were on our way.
Periodically questions posed in the booklet and word games offered will appear at the site.
