For many years I have worked hard, and strug­gled with mas­ter­ing virtuous. Now, in addi­tion, I’m work­ing on becom­ing more virtual.
This is an expres­sion of that effort.

ingre­di­ents:

first set

  • 2.3 cups of flour

  • 1 cup pecans (broken)
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp. bak­ing powder
  • .5 tsp. bak­ing soda
  • .25 tsp salt

sec­ond set

  • 2.5 cup sugar

  • 1 cup mashed banana
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 large eggs

third set

  • 1 cup melted butter

  • 1 cup buttermilk

pro­ce­dure:

  1. mix the first set: flour, pecans, cran­ber­ries, bak­ing pow­der, bak­ing soda, salt

  2. in a large bowl, mix the sec­ond set: sugar, banana, vanilla, eggs

  3. add the third set: but­ter & but­ter­milk mix well.

  4. add the first set, and mix well

  5. but­ter and dust a non-stick 10″ tube pan

  6. bake at 350º for about an hour
